RSPH Food Safety Training Course - Level 2
Course Objective:
- To provide ATC Staff with a basic understanding of food safety in a catering environment.
Target Audience:
The course is open to all uniform staff, Civilian Instructors, Civilian Committee members and Instructor Cadets who would benefit from this qualification as part of their Sqn role.
Course Content:
The course content includes the following:
- The importance of hygiene
- The food handler’s legal responsibilities
- Monitoring food safety procedures
- How to store, prepare, cook, hold & serve food safely
Course Duration:
The course starts at 0900 hrs on Saturday and finishes approximately 1630-1700 hrs.
