RSPH Health & Safety in the Workplace Training Course - Level 2
Course Objective:
- To provide ATC Staff with a better understanding of health & safety. The emphasis is on making the individual safe for him/herself, safe for others and capable of identifying potential hazards.
Target Audience:
The course is open to all uniform staff, Civilian Instructors, Civilian Committee members and Instructor Cadets who would benefit from this qualification as part of their Sqn role.
Course Content:
The course content includes the following:
- General principles of health & safety in the workplace
- Outline the nature of hazards & risks in the workplace
- Identify hazards & risks likely to affect the occupational health of individuals
Course Duration:
The course starts at 0900 hrs on Saturday and finishes approximately 1630-1700 hrs.
