Wing Ground Instructors Course (Propulsion)

Course Objectives:

  • To provide an in depth review of ACP 33 – Volume 3 (Propulsion) to further aid the subject understanding of existing Sqn instructors.
  • Highlight the use & types of visual aids that can assist with Cadet understanding of the subject matter.
  • Promote further interest in the subject matter with an off-site tour of a local propulsion production line.
  • To provide an opportunity to discuss with fellow Squadron instructors ideas and good practice for future consideration.

Target Audience:

The course is open to all uniform staff, Civilian Instructors and Instructor Cadets who have previously taught the subject to Cadets. The course aims to reinforce existing understanding.

Course Content:

The course content includes the following:

  • In depth review of the existing ACP 33 – Volume 3 syllabus
  • Training aids
  • Presentation formats
  • Off site visit to local propulsion production line or museum
  • Open forum

Course Duration:

The course is residential and starts at 0900 hrs on Saturday and finishes approximately 1230 hrs on Sunday.

Cost:

£10.00 for the weekend, which includes accommodation, messing & refreshments.
