Biography
- Joined the Air Training Corps as a Civilian Instructor with 1947 ( Birstall ) Squadron, Former South Midlands Wing in 1986. First Female Staff to join the Squadron
- Commissioned in the RAFVR (T) on 13 Oct 1989 and was appointed Squadron Adjutant of 1947
- Promoted to Flying Officer in 1991 and was appointed as Training Officer of 1947
- Transferred to 2070 (Glenfield) Squadron in 1996 and shortly after was appointed Officer Commanding.
- Appointed as Wing Staff Officer in February 2003 to the South and East Midlands Wing as First Aid and Health and Safety Officer.
- Continued in this role until the Wing Staff roles were re defined and I gained Media and Communications Officer as well
