  • Joined the ATC on the 30th August 1970 as a cadet with 94(Feltham) Squadron, Middlesex Wing, London & South East Region.
  • Appointed as a Cadet Warrant Officer, April 1976
  • Appointed as a Warrant Officer in the Air Training Corps on 30th August 1979
  • Authorisation given to wear the Royal Coat of Arms (Tate & Lyle) on 30th August 1987
  • Attended and Passed the WO Drill Instructors Course at the Air Cadet Training Centre at RAF Newton, July 1992
  • Appointed as Wing Warrant Officer Middlesex Wing ATC, April 1994
  • Awarded The Lord Lieutenant of London Certificate of Meritorious Service, March 1995
  • Transferred to 2229 (Loughborough) Squadron South & East Midlands Wing, Central & East Region. July 2001
  • Appointed Wing Warrant Officer South & East Midland Wing ATC January 2004
  • Appointed to Regional Drill Coordinator Central & East Region ATC, June 2004
