Role: Wing Warrant Officer

Biography:

  • Originally joined the Air Training Corps in November 1989 at 138 (Radford) DF in Nottingham.
  • Received an Air Training Corps Warrant in 2001 whilst at 1359 (Beeston) Squadron.
  • Attended Royal Air Force College Cranwell in 2002 on the ATC Drill Instructors Course.
  • Transferred to 504 (West Nottingham) Sqn in 2002 as Squadron WO.
  • Joined the Wing Training team in 2003 working on the Civilian Instructors and Prospective Uniform courses.
  • Joined the Cadet Development Team in 2007 working primarily on the Cadet NCO Drill Instruction Course.
  • Transferred to 1936 (Newton) Sqn in 2008 as Squadron WO.
  • Appointed as Wing Warrant Officer for South and East Midlands Wing from the 1st May 2009.

Civilian Occupation:

Police Constable serving with Nottinghamshire Constabulary as a response driver and Tutor Constable of regular and special constables. In 2008 volunteered to train as officer attending suspect package incidents. Between 2004 and 2009, awarded two Chief Constables Commendations, one Crown Court Commendation and one Divisional Commanders Commendation.
