BASIC Training Course

Course Objective:

To give potential Instructor Cadets an insight and training into:

  • The structure of the Air Cadet Organisation (ACO)
  • Their responsibilities as a supervisor and legal adult
  • Basic administrative requirements
  • Conditions of service as Instructors

Target Audience:

This course is aimed at potential Instructor Cadets within the Wing.

Course Content:

The course content includes the following:

  • ATC Structure & Organisation
  • RAF Structure & Organisation
  • Instructor Cadet Responsibilities
  • Health & Safety Responsibilities
  • Administrative Responsibilities
  • Discipline
  • Conditions of Service
  • Financial Matters

Course Duration:

The course is non-residential, starting at 1000 hrs and finishing at approximately 1630 hrs.

Cost:

Nil. As this course is a mandatory requirement, refreshments will be provided free of charge.

  • Course BTC 3/10: 10/10/10 – HQ 378 Sqn
