Cadet NCO Leadership Course

Course Objective:

To give Cadet NCOs the chance to learn and demonstrate leadership through practical experience.

Target Audience:

This course is aimed exclusively at Cadet NCO’s and candidates must meet the following minimum criteria:

  • Be at least 16 years of age at the start of the course
  • Hold the rank of cadet Corporal or above
  • Have attended a Wing run Initial or Advanced NCO training course

Cadets will be expected to prepare themselves before the course by revising the content of their previously attended Initial or Advanced NCO course and may be assigned additional research tasks to complete prior to the commencement of the course.

Course Content:
The course structure will concentrate mainly on leadership tasks with detailed debriefs for each lead. A minimal amount of leadership theory lectures will be provided during the course to bring cadets up to the level of the ANCO course.

Course Duration:

The course is residential and starts at 1930 hrs on Friday and finishes at 1700 hrs on Sunday.

Cost:

£5.00 for the weekend, which includes messing, refreshments and a colour course photograph.

Course NLC 1/10: 14/05/10 – 16/05/10 – RAF Cottesmore (18 places)
Course NLC 2/10: 16/07/10 – 18/07/10 – RAF Cottesmore (18 places)
