Cadet Radio Communicators Badge Course
Course Objective:
To undertake and complete the syllabus training for the Radio Communicator’s Badge.
Target Audience:
Cadets must hold a VHF provisional licence and be competent with radio equipment (approx 20 hours use), in addition, they must also have passed the First Class basic radio examination.
Course Content:
The course content includes the following:
- Advanced radio & radar syllabus and examination
- Satellite communication syllabus and examination
- Basic circuit building
- General electrical skills
- Internet and web-based skills
Course Duration:
The course is residential and starts at 1900 hrs on Friday and finishes at 1700 hrs on Sunday.
Cost:
£5.00 to cover the costs of course materials, messing and refreshments.
Course Dates:
Course RCB 1/10: 29/10/10 – 31/10/10 – RAF Cottesmore (30 places)
Course RCB 2/10: 26/11/19 – 28/11/10 – RAF Cottesmore (30 places)
