HQAC Risk Assessor Course

Course Objective:

  • To provide additional knowledge of the key aspects to completing Risk Assessments within the Air Cadet Organisation.

Target Audience:

The course is open to all uniform staff, Civilian Instructors and Instructor Cadets.

Course Content:

The course content includes the following:

  • H&S Law
  • Introduction to Risk Assessments
  • The Risk Assessment Process
  • Generic Risk Assessments
  • Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
  • Manual Handling Operations
  • Equipment
  • Lifting Operations
  • Syndicate Exercises
  • RA Exam

Course Duration:

The course starts at 1000 hrs and finishes approximately 1630 hrs.
