HQAC Risk Assessor Course
Course Objective:
- To provide additional knowledge of the key aspects to completing Risk Assessments within the Air Cadet Organisation.
Target Audience:
The course is open to all uniform staff, Civilian Instructors and Instructor Cadets.
Course Content:
The course content includes the following:
- H&S Law
- Introduction to Risk Assessments
- The Risk Assessment Process
- Generic Risk Assessments
- Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
- Manual Handling Operations
- Equipment
- Lifting Operations
- Syndicate Exercises
- RA Exam
Course Duration:
The course starts at 1000 hrs and finishes approximately 1630 hrs.
Course Dates:
Sat 8 September 2012 – Venue TBC (Provisional)
Cost:
£1.00 for refreshments (pack lunches will be required).
