1084 - Foxton Locks Festival

Article posted: Jul 01, 2016 by Sqn Ldr Mayoh-Smith

Over the weekend of the 18th and 19th June, 10 – 12 cadets from 1084 Squadron attended and assisted in the running of the Foxton Locks Festival – a super weekend of music and live entertainment including live bands, a dog show, wacky races and lots of local craft and food stalls.

The cadets helped stall holders prepare their pitches for the day as well as issuing festival wristbands and programmes, as well as having a recruitment stall next to the centre ring.

Well done to everyone who took part. The picture here shows the team after they had managed to dismantle and pack away their enormous and extremely heavy 12 man tent!!
