On 20th August, cadets of 2195 Long Eaton and 1360 Stapleford Squadron came together in order to compete against one another for the local bragging rights.

The night, ran by 1360’s Flight Sergeant Cox, consisted of two games of football and two games of ultimate Frisbee, topped off with a game of rounders. 2195 convincingly won both football matches, won one of the ultimate Frisbee match and drew the other. However, 1360 decimated 2195 in rounders with a superior level of batting.

Despite an admirable performance from 2195, 1360 squadron edged ahead on points and were victorious. 1360 won’t sit on their win and 2195 will be eager to reclaim the local bragging rights, with both squadrons already looking to the next inter-squadron sports competition.
