138 Squadron Awards Galore

Cadets and members of staff from 138 squadron Air Training Corps, indulge in an evening being presented with a wealth of awards. The presentations were held at the squadron in front of dignitaries from the city of Nottingham.

Flight Lieutenant Fred Harrison (VRT) invited the Deputy Lord Lieutenant Tom Huggon to be guest of honour and present all the cadets and staff with their awards.
Cadet Sergeant Conrad Goetzee won top honours with Master Cadet Distinction level, and Basic swimming honours. Six other cadets claimed their own Basic Swimming Awards to add to their collections.

Ex cadet sergeant Connor Hutchinson was invited back to the squadron to be awarded a BTEC in public Services from the Deputy Lord Lieutenant .
CI Claire Cottee was awarded the activity First Aid certificate
All the cadets and staff within the squadron work extremely hard for their awards, and all was well deserved.
Deputy Lord Lieutenant Tom Huggon said after the ceremonies “I am honoured to be here, it’s great to see young cadets from the Air Training corps receiving these awards”
Sgt Conrad Goetzee said “I thought the exams were hard, however I revised beforehand. I am extremely pleased to receive my award from the Deputy Lord Lieutenant, it made the award evening more special for all of the cadets and emphasised all the hard work we have all done “

138 squadron Air Training Corps would like to thank Deputy Lord Lieutenant Tom Huggon for being guest of honour, it was an absolute privilege to have the Deputy Lord Lieutenant as our special guest.
