1461 signs up for the Legion

1461 Squadron has just completed the affiliation process to cement a long standing relationship with the Croft branch of the Royal British Legion. The new agreement, sealed with an exchange of certificates and wall plaques will be used to benefit both parties, with support offered by the Legion in return for assistance during the annual Poppy collections leading up to Remembrance Day.
16 Cadets and staff kicked off this year by collecting on behalf to the RBL at Asda Fosse Park as well as the main Fosse Park site, on the Saturday before Remembrance Sunday, followed by a large parade in the village of Croft on the day itself. There were several comments on how smart the cadets looked and how well they marched together.
