“TopsonTour” started as a small project to get the cadets of 1461 talking about what they get up to as an Air Cadet. The project has run for the last 12 months, and I can safely say has run away with its self!
The now infamous orange T shirt has gone, flying, gliding, in the field, seen sporting achievements on the track, the field, the pitch and in the pool. It’s been requested to appear by Wing Warrant Officers and senior Wing Staff along with cadets asking to take it on trips and camps in the UK and overseas, from Germany, to the ascension island and as far as Nepal.
It has been worn by the Red Arrows, the RAF Falcons, and from cadets all the way to to our very own Air Commodore and even an Air Marshall of the Royal Air Force.
As Officer Commanding of 1461, I am very proud to present the end of project video, a snap shot into Air Cadet life here at 1461.
Its not the end of TopsonTour, it will be back for special occasions!

We wish you a very happy Christmas and an amazing new year… bring on 2015!
