Bag Pack Double

Recently, eight cadets and staff members from 2418 (Sherwood) Squadron attended a fundraising back pack at Marks & Spencer’s store in the heart of Nottingham.

On arrival the cadets were greeted by the friendly staff and given identity cards. The day started at 9:30am and included bag packing and collecting money for squadron camping equipment that will be used for activities like Duke of Edinburgh Award expeditions and National Navigation Award Scheme walks.

Overall, the turnout was good and the cadets raised the amazing total of £685 for the squadron. A big thank you to all cadets and staff members that attended, well done!

The week before, another bag pack at the Top Valley Tesco on the outskirts of Nottingham attended by 30 cadets who worked extremely hard and raised £1,018.

Again, a big thank you and well done to all cadets and staff members that attended. Most importantly, a very big thank you to both Marks and Spencer’s in Nottingham and Top Valley Tesco for the opportunity given and to the outstanding generosity of their customer.
