The Cadets arrived Friday evening and between then and Sunday afternoon took part in a massive range of challenging activities including day and night orienteering, First Aid exercises, initiative exercises and sport. On Saturday afternoon the Cadets were given disposable cameras and tasked with an observation exercise. The following Monday back at the Squadron HQ the Cadets had to give a presentation based on the notes and photographs they had taken. The Cadets also took on the challenge of Walesby’s confidence course tackling chain bridges, balance beams and monkey bars.

To give the weekend a competitive edge the Cadets were split into two groups and awarded points for how well they performed at each activity. By Sunday, Team 1 led by Sgt Joe Hammond had scored the most points.
