2195 12th in the inter-squadron cross country!

Today, 12 cadets from 2195 (Long Eaton) Squadron ATC, along with the whole of South and East Midlands Wing, joined together at Radcliffe College for the annual Wing Cross Country competition.

Cadets were separated into teams based on their age and one group after another, the cadets went to the starting line and completed the muddy course.

The senior girls, senior boys and youths had to run 5km, whereas the junior boys and girls had to run 3km.

The cadets gave their all and the squadron came 12th overall in the wing, with the Junior Men coming 3rd!

Cadet Fowodu said “The day was great fun with a hard, challenging course but we all managed to complete it and it I felt proud to represent the squadron.”
