2195 flying high in the sky

On Sunday 15th may 5 cadets and Cadet flight sergeant Moffatt had an early start to the morning. They travelled to RAF Cranwell for an amazing day of aeronautical adventures.

The cadets were welcomed onto the base and sat down to watch a health and safety briefing which covered everything from getting into the plane to Jumping out!

For some cadets it was their first time flying. The adventurous cadets even had a chance to control the plane.

Cadet Hannah Billson said “as I walked out to the plane I felt excited and nervous but once I was up there the thrill and the view were overwhelming. Looking outside of the plane was brilliant with the clouds right next to you and looking down on the fields was something I will never forget.”

At the end of the day everyone left with a smile on their face but we’re sure everyone who went won’t forget the great views that they saw.
