2195’s Cadet Warrant Officer Simpson at Derby Cathedral

On Sunday 12th June, Cadet Warrant Officer Damien Simpson attended Derby Cathedral to take part in a church service in order to celebrate HM The Queen’s 90th birthday. During the service, Cadet Warrant Officer Simpson gave a reading in honour of the Queen.
The service was open to local Air Training Corps and Army Cadet Forces units, where the Lord Lieutenant and High Sheriff of Derbyshire arrived along with the mayors from different boroughs in the county.

Cadet Warrant Officer Simpson said “I enjoyed taking part in the church service as it was a local event to celebrate the queens 90th birthday.”
