Cadets from 2229 Squadron took to the streets of Loughborough in their usual organised and timely fashion for the 72nd Anniversary ATC Sunday Parade. The whole squadron was on show to the general public on a march that led them from the TA Centre to the Church of the Good Shepherd a mile up the road. The parade was escorted by two vehicles from the Loughborough Land Rover Club and the Squadrons Corps of Drums to the Church where a short service was held by the Squadron Padre Revd. Rosie Whitely. Cadets all over the country were involved in parades on this special day, which marks the formation of the Air Training Corps all the way back in 1941.
The cadets parade at the Loughborough TA Centre from 7pm on Monday and Thursday nights. Feel free to browse our website at www.2229.org.uk.
