2418 Cadet attends first duty as Nottinghamshire’s Lord Lieutenants cadet

On the 9th November I attended my first event as the Lord Lieutenants cadet of Nottinghamshire. The remembrance parade at the Victoria Embankment was a moving ceremony, even more poignant being the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of World War 1. The parade consisted of various hymns and the laying of poppy wreaths.

The Parade was attended by serving personnel from the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Royal Air Force and the Army. Representatives from all the cadet forces were also in attendance.

The parade was an honour to attend and I look forward to my next duty.
