Recently, 2418’s Cadet Warrant Officer (CWO) Jake Foster, attended the Prospective Uniform (P/U) Course at RAF Wittering. The weekend long course is designed to give candidates a better insight into what uniformed service is like, what would be expected of a uniformed member of staff and also some information upon what is expected and required for wing board interviews, OASC and also IOT training, before being awarded your commission as a VR(T) Officer or rank as an ATC SNCO.

CWO Foster commented “It was a great weekend with some brilliant people. Everyone was very enthusiastic about the course and the potential of what it can mean for the start of your uniform process. I found some aspects very interesting, especially the scenarios and thought it was an enjoyable course.” CWO Foster now awaits his course report and all at 2418 wish him the best of luck with his application for ATC Staff.
