Recently 2418 (Sherwood) Squadron enrolled two new cadets to their unit. Cadets Hamilton and Commandini after their 12 weeks of training, learning about the history of the Royal Air Force (RAF) and Air Training Corps (ATC), learning the basics to cadet drill and a multitude of other primary skills to take forward into their time as a cadet. After a presentation from the squadron Padre, Padre M Fife, and reading out their cadet promise, they were handed their 3822 Log Books and have now become members of one of the most commendable youth organisations and 2418 Welcomes them to their Squadron!

Cadet Hamilton commented, “Its been an enjoyable 12 weeks training and i’ve learnt so much in such a short period of time. I cant wait to see where the rest of my cadet career takes me and to see what I can achieve in my time as a cadet!”
