On the 16th of September shoppers, shop keepers and general members of the public paused to watch the Annual parade through the city of Nottingham, the parade was from St Mary’s church to the Council House.
The impressive sight of over two hundred immaculately turned out cadets parading through the city centre, backed by the Army Cadet band, created an overwhelming presence of the ATC. All of which is in memory of the Battle of Britain and all of our service men and women who are no longer with us due to current exercises.
Even though the parade was meant purely for remembrance the cadets marched with pride and honour providing an exceptional representation of the Air Cadets. This was greatly appreciated by the Lord Lieutenant. ex and current service men and women.
