On a blustery Sunday morning, cadets of 2502 (Hamilton) Squadron Air Cadets assembled one of its largest teams ever to take part in the South and East Midlands Wing Cross Country event at RAF Wittering.
Sunday dawned with a break in the stormy weather and the cadet ready to get going. Despite all the rain the route was soft but not muddy. Cadets took part in all the categories, fielding full teams in most areas.
Even cadets that had only just passed out into the squadron took part as their first event they attended with the squadron.
Flt Lt Andy Faulkner said “I am immensely proud of the cadets who have taken part today. This has been a largest team the squadron has entered in over 5 years and they have all done themselves proud”
2502 achieved it best result in over 5 year.
