2502 present £1000 fundraising Cheque to RAF Association Wings Appeal

On Battle of Britain Sunday Cadets and Staff of 2502 (Hamilton) Squadron presented Melton Mowbray Branch RAF Association with a cheque after their 100 Hour Challenge.

Cadets were sponsored to fly their 737- 800 Flight Simulator to 34 RAF or former RAF stations, covering over 35,000 virtual miles in 100 hours.

The cheque for £1000 was presented by Flt Lt Andy Faulkner to Mrs Brenda Cox, Wings Co-ordinator for the Melton Mowbray Branch of RAF Association.

Mr Keith Glover, Chairman of the Melton Branch RAF Association said “What an amazing thing you have done, I am blown away by the amount of money the cadets have raised.”
