This month three cadets finished their training and enrolled into the ranks of 504 Sqn thus increasing the numbers on the unit in line with this year’s growth plan.

After three months of intense training in Drill, Dress and Discipline, History and structure of the ATC and the RAF to name but a few, they passed out in a ceremony in front of their families.

OC 504 Flt Lt Emma MacAndrew said ‘I am extremely proud of the hard work and effort that these individuals have put in to completing their basic training. By being enrolled in front of their families allows them to show off and be proud of their unit and the Royal Air Force Air Cadets’.

If any 13 to 17 year olds are interested in taking up the challenge of the Air cadets, please contact the squadron on a Tuesday or Thursday evening beween 7pm and 9pm or visit the ACO Website,
