504 (West Nottingham) Squadron Support Poppy Appeal

Cadets and staff from 504 (West Nottingham) Squadron gave their full support to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal over the two weekends preceding Remembrance Sunday. The Squadron was out in force at several key Nottingham city locations simultaneously, ensuring the footprint of the Air Training Corps, as well as the Royal Air Force, was clearly visible in our local community, assisting the Royal British Legion in their annual fund-raising campaign.

504 (West Nottingham) Squadron has a long association with their local branch of the Royal British Legion, who they are also formally affiliated to. Each year, Cadets and staff offer their time and effort in support of the valuable work done by the Legion. The President of the Royal British Legion Wollaton Branch, Mr Graham Sneath, said: “We are very grateful to 504 Squadron for all that they do for us each year, the assistance by the Cadets and staff of 504 Squadron ensures that we are able to raise significant amounts of money, which will go towards to work of the Royal British Legion”.
