A Friendly face for CWO Kahla upon completing the Robin Hood Marathon.

2418 Sherwood Sqn regularly attend the Robin Hood marathon to help where needed which most years usually involves handing out medals to runners who complete either the mini, half or full marathon. CWO Kahla has also been a regular attendee of this event with his squadron, with it being one of the first events he attended as a cadet.

However this year instead of handing out the medals to other runners he was awarded the medal for completing the full marathon of 26 miles in 4 hours 45 minutes and 1 second. “I should have done more training before the marathon but I really enjoyed it, and I am now hoping to take part in the London marathon next year” CWO Kahla. WO Bates awarded the medal to CWO Kahla after greeting him at the finish line.
