Three adult staff from South & East Midlands Wing attended the CVQO Graduation Ceremony held at the RAF College Cranwell on 9th October 2007.

A City & Guilds Licentiateship in Youth Leadership & Training (equivalent to a level 4 foundation degree) was awarded to Wing WO Mark Butler with Squadron Leader’s Andy Pass & Adrian Utting (WSO’s) receiving the Graduateship Award in Youth Management & Training, which is a level 6 Honours Degree equivalent.

The ceremony was attended by 200 people comprised of family members and senior representatives from the Ministry of Defence, the three Armed Services and the Cadet Forces. Dignitaries included Admiral the Lord West of Spithead GCB DSC DUniv. and Dr Dick Evans, City and Guilds Senior Awards Chairman who both spoke during the ceremony, praising the graduates for their hard work and determination in their work with the cadet forces and their efforts in completing these qualifications.

CVQO have now opened the Graduateship Award to a wider range of staff with 10 years adult service (including CIs on a case by case basis) and have just announced the equivalent of a Masters Degree. All the details can be found on the adult qualifications pages of the CVQO website.
