The award was formally presented by Her Majesty The Queen and during the presentation The Queen spoke briefly to Nigel about his work in the Air Training Corps.
Before the ceremony Nigel openly declared as being very anxious about the whole experience, but on reflection all the ‘Dickinson’ family thoroughly enjoyed this very momentous day. A just recognition for the commitment & dedication to service that Nigel, supported by his family, has shown the Air Training Corps.
