Do you need funds for a community venture? Need more hands to help you with a restoration project? Does your neighbourhood need a boost?
Air Cadets from 378 (Mannock) Squadron in Wellingborough are gearing up for a weekend of activities for the benefit of the local community. They have already planned a fundraising day on Saturday 19th March to raise money for three charities, those being Help for Heroes, the RAF Association Wings Appeal and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
The cadets are now planning a second day of activities on Sunday 20th March to raise more funds for a local Wellingborough charity and are looking for local projects to assist with for the day.
At this time the cadets are asking for local charities or community groups needing help with a project to come forward with requests. All projects will be considered and the cadets will select suitable projects which would benefit most from their help. You do not need to be a registered charity to benefit from the help of Wellingborough’s Air Cadets. If you feel your neighbourhood needs a helping hand to give it a boost then get in touch.
Perhaps you need help with a restoration project or creating a community garden. Do you know about a local beauty spot that has a litter problem which you would like to tidy up? Are you trying to raise funds for a community project but just need to go the extra mile, then get in touch and we can help.
If you have a request for help then please email a brief explanation of who you are and what project you need help with and details of how we can get in touch with you to Flight Lieutenant James Roberts at email@example.com by Wednesday 23rd February.
