Air Cadets sends out the right signals

An ex cadet from 1461 Wigston Sqn has recently passed out of the Army Training Centre at Pirbright.

Signaller James Driver endured 14 weeks of Army basic training comprising of miltary skills, caving, canoeing physical training and marksmanships. He successfully passed out and is currently waiting to start his trade training in Dorset. He will learn the skills to become a communication systems operator which will take sixth months. James said “ The training was tough but i really enjoyed it and can’t wait to finish my next phase. My time spent in cadets really helped with aspects of my basic training.”
Flying Officer Tim Hargraves, OiC 1461 Sqn said “ Its great to see ex cadets moving on in life, and James seems to be doing himself, we wish him well in his future, and we hope he stays in touch.
