Air Cadets Work Experience Course Programme 2010

The courses are primarily aimed at air cadets considering a career in the RAF and provide an ideal opportunity to gain an insight into the roles and life style of serving personnel and what a potential career may entail.
The current list (AL 1) of dates is for 2010 is as follows:

Further course dates will be promulgated as the dates become available. Educational qualifications will be required for courses involving commissioned branches and NCA.
At all courses, cadets will be given the opportunity to attempt the Multi Stage RAF Fitness Test to check their own level of fitness; cadets applying for the PEd course should have a good level of fitness, a natural aptitude for sports and preferably be in possession of the CSLA.
Applications for courses should be submitted on the updated forms which can be found on BADER or requested from WO Owen-Browne at HQAC (via email, TG2a@atc.raf.mod.uk).
It is hoped to include Av Tech courses in the very near future, plus additional Air Traffic Control, RAF Regiment and Aerospace Battle Manager Courses. Unfortunately, for a variety of reasons, it has not been possible to secure courses for Movements Controller, Weapons Technician, Photographer and Information Systems Technician. Dates and eligibility requirements for any of these trade courses will be announced if they are confirmed. Please note that applications will not be accepted for undated courses.
