Asda – “On your marks” Charity day – Bruntingthorpe 2013

Article posted: Aug 19, 2013 by Flt Lt Rayson-Flynn

Cadets from the Leicestershire ATC squadrons (1461, 1181, 1947 and 1F) plus one squadron from Wales & West wing joined forces to help assist the Asda staff in a day of car parking and helping out on the pit lanes. All of the cadets worked really hard and enjoyed the day, as a result of their hard work the cadets and staff managed to get many free rides in fast cars.

Being Air Cadets, everyone really enjoyed the air display… CDT Waite from 1461 said ‘watching the Battle of Britain memorial flight, (Lancaster, Hurricane and Spitfire) fly over really made my day, definitely going to attend again next year!’
