The band of 1084 (Market Harborough) Sqn was invited to play for guests arriving for the Queen’s Birthday Reception at College Hall, RAF Cranwell on 20 June.
The 30 minute performance was very well received by all the guests and it is reported that it featured in many of their conversations during the evening. A former 1084 cadet, now Wing Commander Jeremy Johnson RAF was one of the guests and commented the band was much changed from when he was a cadet.

The cadets were hugely impressed by College Hall and proud to be able to play in front of the famous building, a privilege few cadets can expect to achieve.
The Commandant and Director of Recruitment and Initial Training (RAF), Air Commodore David Stubbs. OBE ADC FRAeS RAFand the College Bursar Wing Commander F K Dowling RAF (Retd) both left the reception to congratulate the cadets and thank them for their excellent performance.
