Two cadets from 1359 (Beeston) Squadron, Royal Air Force Air Cadets have recently had the opportunity to talk about their time in the organisation on Radio Nottingham.

Cadet Warrant Officers (CWO) Adam Hill (19) and Claire Hallam (19) were invited to take part in the Richard Spurr show during the afternoon of Thursday 10th May as part of 1359’s current recruitment campaign. They were joined in the studio by Beeston’s Media and Communications Officer, CI Mike Hill.

The interview offered the chance for Adam and Claire to chat to Richard about the activities that are on offer and to also talk about their time as Cadets, both have been involved since they were 13. CI Hill spoke about the aims of the Corps and how it has a positive effect on the young people who join the organisation.

CWO Hallam said afterwards “That was a great experience and a brilliant opportunity to spread the word about the Cadets to the public”.
