Cadets at 1359 (Beeston) Squadron, Royal Air Force Air Cadets will soon be able to make use of GPS technology thanks to a donation from the Victoria Centre in Nottingham.
Following on from last year’s donation to 1359 which enabled personalised running vests to be purchased for the squadron, Victoria Centre have once again made a generous donation which will be used to purchase a number of Garmin outdoor mapping GPS systems. This will provide the cadets with an alternative form of navigation to add to those already taught as part of map reading and outdoor navigation activities.
Staff, cadets and the Civilian Committee at 1359 (Beeston) Squadron would like to extend their thanks to the Victoria Centre, particularly Liz Sewell, the Centres Marketing Manager, for their continued support to the Squadron.
