Birstall Cadets Achieve Silver.....
Article posted: Aug 17, 2010 by Sqn Ldr Mayoh-SmithTwo cadets from 1947 (Birstall) Squadron have completed a gliding scholarship at RAF Henlow. Both cadets managed to go ‘solo’ and were awarded their Silver Gliding Wings. A third cadet (Sgt A Taylor) also achieved his Blue gliding wings upon successful completion of the course.
