Cadets Go for Bronze

Six Cadets from 1461 Wigston Sqn ATC have just been awarded their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award. The National Award was a culmination of various activities including bag backing in local supermarkets and manning stalls at local fetes. The cadets also undertook a variety of different sporting opportunities and passed their classification exams in subjects such as air navigation and The 2 day, 15 mile expedition phase of the award was completed at Ullesthorpe and Oaks in Charnwood. All the cadets worked especially hard and have walked away from the Bronze Award with a huge sense of achievement.
