Cadets from 1188 (Coalville) Squadron Air Training Corps recently took part in a walk to raise money for charity.
Corporal Vincent, Corporal Hildreth and Sergeant Peat joined with about 30 other people from Ashby Grammar School. They walked 11 miles from Ashby de la Zouch to Calke Abbey and back again.
Between £200 – £250 was raised. The money raised was split between United Nations Association and Unicef

Flying Officer Rebekah Harrison RAF VR (T) said,” I’m really proud of the cadets using their initiative and getting involved in fundraising in their own time, independent of the squadron. Well done to everyone who took part.”
