On the 24th April to the 26th April, Cadets Bates, Diggle and Jameson attended the Initial NCO Course at RAF Wittering. In total there were 45 cadets, which were split into 2 separate courses running simultaneously to each other.

The weekend consisted of drill, various lessons in subjects such as the role of a Junior NCO and principles of leadership with a theory exam. The final part of the course was to complete a 10 minute presentation on a chosen subject of their choice.

Over the course of the weekend there were also two inspections, to help improve the cadets uniform and to access their current standard.

All three cadets found the course very useful, and now hope that they can use the skills and knowledge learnt to progress through the ranks on the squadron.
