Derby Cadets help the Archers

Seven cadets from 126 (City of Derby) Squadron Air Training Corp lent a helping hand to the Derby Archery Club at the Derbyshire County Championship in Milford on Sunday the 29th of September.

The cadets that attended are particularly interested in starting an archery team down at the squadron headquarters; so this was a brilliant opportunity for them to not only do something positive for the community but gain some inside scoop on how an archery competition works.

Flight Sergeant Short, an avid archer herself, led the pack in setting up targets and collecting scores on the day. The cadets were a great support to the Derby Archery Club and were shown outstanding gratitude for their efforts.
