28th-30th November was the weekend of triumphant efforts from the cadets of 1461 squadron. 1461 attended their Squadron camp at RAF Wittering. The camp designed to teach, improve and recap the fieldcraft knowledge of the NCOs, cadets and the newer cadets.

Over the weekend the cadets learnt the importance of field cooking through 24hr ration packs which they ate over the weekend, the importance of camouflage and concealment and the duties of sentrys at patrol base and these are just to name a few.

Enjoyment of the camp was shown through the ongoing smiles of the cadets and staff who were on the camp. The camp has shown the newer cadets what camps in the ACO can be like and they are excited to venture out into more squadron and wing run courses.
