209 (West Bridgford) Squadron has received a donation for £361 from the Nottinghamshire branch of the Freemasons charity.

The cheque was presented at the Sqn by a group from the Freemasons headed by Bill Stansby, Provincial Grand Charities Steward. Bill gave a brief talk about the Free Masons and then the group met with the Cadets who chatted about their experiences in the ATC including flying and adventure training at the Windermere Cadet Centre.

Afterwards Bill Said, “We are delighted to have this opportunity to help buy equipment to encourage the youth of today with all the challenges they face. Nottinghamshire Freemasons donate over £100,000 a year to charity and good causes within the county. As a national organisation we give away over half a million pounds every month.”
