After breaking into the Top Ten of the Gillan Trophy last year, South and East Midlands have improved this year and are the only Wing from the Region to make a Top Ten spot

The Gillan Trophy is awarded to the best sporting Wing in the country and was won yet again by the might of Merseyside Wing, but South and East Midlands Wing has the Trophy firmly insight as a future target.

Having broken into the top ten last year with a ninth place, behind Trent wing (5th), South & East Midlands improved two places ousting Trent to a place outside the Top Ten.

“Yet another fantastic achievement in our Tenth Year. It is all coming together and the Wing is pulling as a real team, the rewards just keep coming in” said Wing Commander Nigel Dickinson, Officer Commanding South & East Midlands Wing.
