Goodbye to Plt Off Leese!

Article posted: Aug 21, 2010 by sl6

After almost six years at 2195 (Long Eaton) Squadron, Pilot Officer Chris Leese has transferred to 358 (Ilkeston) Squadron as part of his development as a member of Adult Staff.

Chris joined 2195 (Long Eaton) Squadron in 2004 and progressed through the ranks to CWO and then commissioned as an Officer Cadet this year before attending the Initial Officer Course at RAF College Cranwell, and becoming a Pilot Officer this July.

During his time at Long Eaton Chris was heavily involved in Shooting and acted as the Squadron Shooting Officer for his entire time as a member of Adult Staff on the Squadron, as well as being involved in many other aspects of the Squadron.

Recently Chris also completed the ACF Obstacle Course Instructors Course allowing him to take cadets onto Army and RAF Obstacle Courses.

Chris will be sadly missed at 2195, but the Squadron wishes him well at Ilkeston and hope to see him again at the next Wing event.

Good luck Chris!
