Cadets from 2071 (Stamford) Squadron got to grips with Initial Expedition training over the weekend.
The squadron took advantage of the facilities at ‘Charlie South’ on RAF Wittering to hold the first of the years Adventure Training Camps for the squadron. The camp was organised and run by Sgt ATC Hannah Coates. Sgt Coates also lead the way in using the new Bader AT application process to get the camp approved.
The cadets completed the Initial Expedition Training element of the first class syllabus and prepared for the Bronze National Navigation Award Scheme which they will undertake in April, but it wasn’t all work and no play as Staff and Cadets took further advantage of being at RAF Wittering and took some time off on Saturday evening to go ten pin bowling on the station.
