Article posted: Nov 04, 2013 by Sqn Ldr Wilson

On the 16th of July 2013 eleven junior cadets started their cadet training with civilian instructor Kitchingman for 3 months to pass out to become fully pledged cadets.

The training included various elements like drill, basic navigation, initial expedition training, airmanship and learning different aspects of the Royal Air force & the Air Training Corps.

All eleven of the junior cadets passed out to become part of 2418 Sherwood Squadron and are now able to take part in all of the new and adventurous activities that the Air Training Corps has to offer. All the cadets enjoyed the passing out parade where the squadron padre gladly came down to pass them out at the end of the parade night in front of all the squadrons cadets and staff members.
